Frequently Asked Questions
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for threading or waxing?
No, our service includes prepping your skin, cleaning, sanitizing or removing any makeup before we apply wax or thread. However, if you are looking to reshape your brows, we recommend letting your hair grow out for about two weeks.
Can I come in even if I have brow makeup on?
Yes you can, we will remove any eyebrow makeup for you.
Do I need to wear any special clothing to get my eyebrows threaded or waxed?
No. We will provide a cover so that hairs do not stick to your skin or clothing.
How long does it take to get my eyebrows waxed or threaded?
Waxing or threading of the eyebrows will take approximately 10 minutes. If you are getting your eyebrows shaped it can take up to 15 minutes. If you are getting another part of your face waxed or threaded such as your sideburns or lower or upper lip it may take longer.
Will threading or waxing prevent future hair growth?
Waxing and threading both remove the hairs from the root, this however will not stop your hair from ever growing back it just may take longer to grow back. When shaving hair can grow back as soon as the next day.
Does eyebrow threading hurt?
Some discomfort may be present if its you’re first time getting your eyebrows threaded or if you haven’t had your eyebrows threaded in some time. Eyebrow threading should not feel like your hair is being yanked out. The closer the thread is to your skin the less it will hurt and your brow tech should know this.
What is the difference between threading and waxing?
When threading the brow tech will use two pieces of cotton thread that pinch your hairs together and then pull to remove. Waxing involves applying the substance, wax, to your face allowing it to trap the hairs in its sticky substance and removing them when pulled off with a small piece of cloth.
Should I get my eyebrows waxed or threaded?
This is a personal decision, both wax and threading are effective methods of hair removal. Wax, however, may break the hair. While this is usually not the case it may occur, but this is avoided 100 percent of the time with threading. Wax is also not for those who are allergic to wax as it may cause a adverse skin reaction.

Shaping is the process of threading, waxing or tweezing your eyebrows with precision to groom them and compliment your face.
Do I need to schedule an appointment for and eyebrow service?
While we do take appointments, it is not required to have one on the day you need service. Walk ins are welcome.
